Ingredients:
Moong Dal - 1 Cup
Onion - 1 (Chopped)
Green Chillies - 2 (Chopped)
Ginger, garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Method:
Moong Dal - 1 Cup
Onion - 1 (Chopped)

Method:
- Soak dal for 1 hour
- Heat oil in kadai, add cumin seeds, curry leaves
- Add onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes
- Add Moong dal and spices and fry for 5 minutes in low flame.
- Add water and cook till dal becomes soft and separate
- Serve with rice or roti
