Ingredients:
Flour - 2 cups
Milk - 1 1/2 cups
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Egg - 1
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ghee or shortening - 2 tbsp
Honey
Method:
Flour - 2 cups
Milk - 1 1/2 cups

Method:
- Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt twice.
- Beat the egg and sugar together.
- Add milk and melted shortening.
- Now stir dry ingredients and mix lightly with your fingertips, till the batter becomes creamy.
- Grease muffin tins, half fill each with batter,
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or needle inserted into center comes out clean.
- Serve hot with honey.
