OATS KHICHIDI

Ingredients:
Oats - 1 cup
Moong dal - 1/3 cup
Green chilli and Ginger paste - 2 tsp
Salt
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method:

  • Heat oil in pressure cooker, fry cumin seeds, green chilli  and ginger paste and saute for a while.
  • Add oats and saute for few seconds then add soaked moong dal and mix well.
  • Add 1 1/2 cup water, salt and close the lid.
  • Cook up to 2 whistles.
  • Serve immediately with curd.
