GINGER SNAPS

Ingredients:
Butter - 3/4 cup
Brown sugar - 1 cup
Molasses - 3/4 cup
Egg - 1
Flour - 2 1/4 cups
Baking soda - 2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ground ginger - 1 tsp
Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
Ground cloves - 1/2 tsp

Method:

  • Put butter,sugar, molasses, and egg into mixing bowl, beat well until creamy.
  • Sift flour, soda, salt, and spices together.
  • Add to creamed mixture, blend well.
  • form into balls and roll in granulated sugar.
  • Place about 2" apart on greased baking sheets.
  • Bake about 10 minutes in preheated oven.
  • Let it cool a little before transferring to cooling tray.
