Ingredients:
Softened butter- 3/4 cup
Granulated sugar-1/2 cup
Ground almonds- 3/4 cup
All-purpose flour-13/4 cup
Light cream-1/4 cup
Cold water-2tbsp
Method:
Softened butter- 3/4 cup

Method:
- Place butter, sugar and almonds in bowl;cream together.
- Add flour and incorporate with pastry blender.
- Pour in cream and pinch dough with fingers.
- Add water, incorporate and shape dough into ball.
- Cover with waxed paper and refrigerate 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 F(180 C).
- Place dough on floured surface and roll until about 1/4 inch(0.65 cm) thick.
- Dust with more flour is needed
- Using assorted cookie cutters, forms shapes and place on buttered cookie sheet.
- Bake 10-12 minutes
- Cool cookies and wire racks
