Ingredients:
Eggs - 6
Onion - 1
Dry red chillies - 3
Cumin seeds - 11/2 tsp
Garlic cloves - 6
Grated cheese - 50 gms
Coriander seeds - 2 tsp (coarsely pounded)
Gram dal - 4 tbsp
Fresh coconut - 3 small pieces
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
Ginger - 1/4 " piece
Green chillies - 2
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Oil for frying
Method:
Eggs - 6

Method:
- Soak the gram dal in water for about an hour or so. Wash and grind along with coconut, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, ginger and red chillies.
- Take out this ground mixture along with a little water with which the grinding stone is washed.
- Chop green chillies, garlic and onion finely and mix into the ground mixture along with the grated cheese, and coriander powder.
- Separate the whites and yolks of the eggs. Beat the whites till light and fluffy.
- Add yolks and beat again. Pour over the lump in the bowl. Add salt and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan, when the oil is hot lower the flame and drop small lumps from the mixture with a teaspoon. Fry them till golden colour.
- Serve with tomato sauce or Sweet and sour tamarind chutney.
