Chema Dumpala Kura (Colocasia Curry)

Ingredients:
Chema Dumpalu(colocasia) - 250gms
Onion - 1 (Chopped)
Tomators - 4 (Chopped)
Green Chillies - 2
Ginger, garlic paste -  1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Tamarind paste - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Oil- 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves


 Method:
  • Boil and peel colocasia and cut them into pieces.
  • Heat oil in kadai add cumin seeds and curry leaves
  • Add onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and cook till oil floats 
  • Add colocasia and other ingredients and 1 cup water.
  • Mix well and cook another 6-8 minutes in low flame.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice or roti.
