Gongura Mutton

Ingredients:
Mutton - 500 gms
Gongura - 200 gms
Onion - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Cardamom -2
Cinnamon Piece - 1"
Cloves - 4
Turmeric -1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Green chillies - 2-3
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Coriander, cumin powder - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder  - 2 tsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Oil  - 2tbsp


Method: 

  • Pressure cook mutton with 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, turmeric and salt.
  • Heat the oil in kadai, add cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, curry leaves.
  • Add chopped onions, chillies and cook till onions tender.
  • Add chopped gongura, salt, turmeric and cook till oil leaves.
  • Add cooked mutton, remaining ginger garlic paste and other spices and cook in low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Add water and cook till the gravy becomes thick.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve with rice or roti
