Drumstick Leaves Chutney (Munagaku Pachchadi)

Drumstick leaves - 100 gms
Dry red chillies - 5-6
Tamarind - small lemon size or as required
Garlic - 5- 6 cloves
Cumin seeds -  1 tsp
Turmeric - a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp


  • Heat the oil in kadai, roast red chillies, cumin seeds for 1 minute then add drumstick leaves and fry another one minute.
  • Cool it and then grind all the ingredients to make a chutney.
  • Serve with rice.
