Chema Dumpa Cutlet (Arbi Cutlet)

Arbi - 250 gms
Besan - 4 tbsp
Onions - 2
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 4
Ginger -  small piece
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying.


  • Wash,boil, peel and mash arbi.
  • Finely chop onions, green chillies and ginger.
  • Now mix all the ingredients to make cutlets.
  • Make small balls and press them like cutlets.
  • Heat the oil, fry them till golden brown colour.
  • Serve hot with sour chutney or as side dish with rice and sambar.
