Milk - 1 cup
Semolina - 2 tbsp
Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Butter -1 tbsp
Almonds - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Cashew nuts - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Kishmish - 1 tsp
Nutmeg powder - a pinch
Ghee or oil for frying


  • Roast semolina and corn flour slightly. Mix semolina, corn flour, sugar and milk. Bring to a boil. Cook on low heat till thick.
  • Add butter and cook for another 2 -3 minutes.
  • Add nutmeg and dry fruits. Let it cool.
  • Take lemon size ball of mixture. Flatten it.
  • Keep a piece of cashew nut inside and press. Prepare all karkarias like this.
  • Deep fry these karkarias till golden brown.
  • Cool and serve.
