DEVI PRASADAM

Ingredients:
Wheat rawa - 125 gm
Ghee - 50 gm
Kova - 50 gm
Cashew nuts - 10 gm
Kishmish - 10 gm
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Jaggery - 175 gm

Method:

  • Heat half of the ghee in a pan, add rawa,kishmish and cashew nuts and fry till aroma comes.
  • Add 1- 11/2 glass of water and cook till done.
  • In the mean time, grated jaggery add little water and cook to make jaggery syrup.
  • Add this syrup to the cooked rawa and cook in low flame by stirring continuously till it becomes thick.
  • Add remaining ghee, mashed kova and cardamom powder, cook another 10 minutes in low flame.
  • Serve this naivedyam  to Durga Mata.
