Ingredients:
Vakkayalu - 250 gm
Red chilli's - 20 - 25
Green chillies - 4
Salt - 1-2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - small bunch
For Talimpu:
Oil - 100 gm
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Asafoetida - a pinch
Method:
Vakkayalu - 250 gm

For Talimpu:

Method:
- Wash and cut vakkayalu into half, remove the seeds.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil, add red chillies, green chillies and fry.Remove from pan.
- Iin the smae pan, add vakkayalu and cook for 2 minutes or till tender.
- Cool and grind along with chillies and salt and coriander leaves to make chutney.
- Heat oil and add all talimpu ingredients and fry till mustard crackles.
- Pour this over chutney.
