TANDOORI CHICKEN

Ingredients:
Young chicken - 1
Curd - 100 gm
Salt to taste
Chilli powder - 2-3 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Oil

Method:

  • Clean, wash and make cuts on chicken. Rub a mixture of salt, chilli powder on it.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice ad keep aside.
  • Mix curd, salt, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, vinegar and garam masala.
  • Marinate the chicken with the above mixture and keep aside for one hour.
  • Take chicken, pass skewers through the legs and breast and cook in  a hot oven (400 F) for 2 minutes or till half done.
  • Take out, hang for 10-15 minutes, to remove extra moisture.
  • Apply oil to prevent drying and bake again on skewer in a moderate oven (350 F) or in a tandoor for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
