PASTA POMODORO

Ingredients:
Pasta - 120 gms
Small onions - 2 (chopped)
Tomatoes - 5 (chopped)
Garlic cloves - 5-6 (chopped)
Sugar - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Dried basil - 1/4 tsp
Olive oil - 2 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:

  • Cook the pasta as per the instructions of the packet. Drain the water and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil; fry onion and garlic till light pink.
  • Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and cook till the tomatoes soften.
  • Sprinkle basil, mix in the cooked pasta and remove from the heat.
  • Serve hot.
