Ingredients:
Plum - 500 gms
Fresh cherries - 100 gm
Aam papad - 50 gm
Sugar - 200 gm
Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
Red chillies - 2
Bay leaf - 1
Method:
Plum - 500 gms

Method:
- Deseed the plums. Cut the aam papad into small pieces.
- Boil 4-5 cups of water in a pan and add bay leaf and red chillies.
- Add the plums and the cinnamon powder and continue to simmer over a low flame for about 4-5 minutes.
- Add in the cherries and sugar and continue to simmer for another 3 minutes; stirring occasionally.
- Mix in the aam papad and cook till the chutney is left with enough syrup to enjoy the sweet and sour taste.
- Serve with paranthas or puris.
