Ingredients:
Dry coconut - 1/2 (grated)
Pepper corns - 1 tbsp
Red chillies - 4
Salt - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 100 gms
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Ghee- 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Method:
Dry coconut - 1/2 (grated)

Ghee- 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

Method:
- Grind garlic cloves coarsely and keep aside.
- Grind dry coconut, pepper corns, red chillies, salt and turmeric to make powder.
- Heat ghee in kadai, add mustard and curry leaves. Allow them to crackle.
- Add garlic paste; stir till the aroma comes then add ground powder.
- Mix well and cook in low flame for 3 minutes.
- let it cool and transfer to airtight jar.
- Serve with steamed rice and melted ghee.
- This is good for Balintha (for newly delivered mothers)
