Ingredients:
Oats - 100 gms
Milk - 500 ml
Sugar to taste
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Pachcha karpuram - a pinch
Saffron - few strands
Cashew nuts - 10
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Method:
- Fry cashew nuts in ghee and keep aside. In the pan, fry oats to a reddish brown colour.
- Cook oats in plenty of water.
- Add milk and sugar; cook for a while.
- Flavour with cardamom powder, pacha karpuram and saffron.
- Mix gently; add cashewnuts.
- Serve hot.
