HONEY RUSKS

Ingredients:
Stale leftover slices of bread
Honey diluted with water

Method:

  • Cut slices into strips like potato chips.
  • Dip each into honey syrup and arrange on a greased tray.
  • Bake in a slow oven for 45 minutes till golden brown.
  • These are delicately flavoured, mildly sweet, but deliciously crunchy rusks.
