HOW TO MAKE BISCUIT CRUMB PASTRY

Ingredients:
Sweet wholemeal biscuits - 150 gms
Butter - 75 gms (melted)

Method:

  • Place biscuits between folded grease proof paper and crush into crumbs with a rolling pin.
  • Put into a bowl. Add the melted butter and bind the crumbs together.
  • Line bottom and sides of deep pie plate or sandwich cake tin with mixture.
  • Leave in a cool place until firm.
  • Other sweet biscuit crumbs or ginger biscuits can be used instead of digestive biscuits.
