PICKLED LAMB

Ingredients:
Lamb – 750 gms (chopped into thin strips)
Salt to taste
Water – 1 litre
Oil for deep frying
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice - 4 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder – 2 tbsp
Sesame seed powder – 4 tbsp
Ginger – 3” (finely chopped)
Garlic cloves – 12 (finely chopped)

Method:
  • Mix the lamb with salt and water, and cook in a saucepan on a medium heat for 40 minutes or till done. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil and deep fry the mutton pieces few at a time.
  • Drain and mix with other ingredients.
  • Serve after few hours.
