MUSHROOM JALFAREZI

Ingredients:
Mushrooms -250 gms
Tomatoes - 100 gms
Capsicum -100 gms
Onion - 150 gms
Red chillies - 3
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
White pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
Tomato puree - 20 gms
Oil -2 tbsp

For Garnishing:
Garam masala -1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves -  1 tsp
Ginger - 1/2 tsp
Green chillies - 2-3

Method:

  • Cut onion, tomato and capsicum into cubes. Cut mushroom into halves.
  • Heat oil and add cumin and red chillies; fry them.
  • Add the onion, tomato and capsicum to it and saute.
  • Also, add mushrooms and saute for awhile.
  • then add salt, pepper, vinegar, tomato puree and chilli powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Lastly sprinkle garam masala, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies and ginger juliennes.
