Pasta - 2 cups
Onions - 2 small, chopped
Tomatoes - 2-3, chopped
Sugar - 1 tsp
Dried basil - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 2 tsp, chopped
Olive oil -2 tsp

For Garnishing:
Parsley - 4 tsp


  • Boil pasta as per the instructions on the packet.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and onion. Fry on low heat till the onions turn light pink.
  • Now add the tomatoes, pepper, sugar and salt to taste. Cover and cook till the tomatoes are soften.
  • Sprinkle basil, mix in the pasta and remove from heat.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
