VINEGAR TURNIPS

Ingredients:
Turnips - 1 kg
Sugar - 1 cup
Vinegar - 1/3 cup
Water - 1 cup
Salt - 3 tbsp

Method:

  • Peel turnips; slice very thin.
  • Put into bowl.
  • Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan; bring to boil.
  • Pour over turnips; mix gently but thoroughly.
  • Cover; refrigerate 5 days.
