Ingredients:

Method:
- Squeeze the lemons to get 235 ml lemon juice.
- Put the cardamom, sugar and 235 ml water in a one litre pot and heat over medium flame to a simmer, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved. Cool and stir in lemon juice
- Pour into a loaf pan and freeze at least 8 hours.
- Scrap off with a spoon and serve in chilled glass bowls.
- The ice will be grainy, not smooth.
