Wheat flour - 200 gms
Jaggery - 350 gms
Milk -1 glass
cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts - 50 gms
Chironji  - 50 gms
Raisins - 50 gms
Ghee - 1tbsp


  • Add water to flour and make a dough. Make very small balls (channa dal size) and dust them with dry flour.
  • Remove and dry them at sun light for 2 hours or until dry.
  • For one glass of undrallu we have to take 4 glasses of water and bring to boil.
  • Cook grated jaggery with one cup of water till the jaggery completely dissolved.
  • Fry cashew nuts, chironji, raisins in ghee and keep aside.

  • In another vessel boil milk. Mix one table spoon of wheat flour with water; stir this mixture to the boiling milk.
  • Add jaggery syrup, undrallu, cardamom powder and fried dry fruits.
  • Stir gently and cook another 2- 3 minutes.
