Ingredients:
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cornstarch - 3 tbsp
Syrups from canned pineapple chunks and pears
Lemon rind - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Method:
Sugar - 1/2 cup

Method:
- Blend sugar and cornstarch in a medium size saucepan; stir in fruit syrups (there should be about 2 1/2 cups).
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly and boils three minutes; remove from heat.
- Stir in lemon rind and lemon juice.
- Serve warm or cold.
