Cashew Nut Chikki

Cashew Nuts  -100 gms
Sugar- 50 gms
jaggery - 50 gms  (grated)
Cardamom Powder -  1/4 tsp
Ghee - 4 tsp
Lemon - 1/2 (juice)
Lemon Yellow colour -  A pinch


  • Fry the cashew nuts in ghee and keep aside.
  • In a kadai, add jaggery and sugar and cook till one string consistency. Add lemon juice.
  • Remove and add cashew nuts and cardamom powder and colour. Mix well.
  • Transfer immediately to the greased plate. Press evenly.
  • Cut into pieces when it is cool.
  • Store in airtight container.
