Cheese Delight

Maida - 300 gms
Cheese - 150 gms
Butter - 150 gms
Eggs - 3
Salt and pepper to taste
Kala Jeera (black Cumin Seeds)


  • In a mixing bowl, place maida, salt and pepper and mix. Rub in the butter and grate the cheese and stir into the flour with egg yolks.
  • Add enough water and knead to make a stiff dough. Knead well and roll into 1/4" thick and cut into biscuits with biscuit cutter.
  • Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Beat the egg whites and brush over the biscuits.Sprinkle kalajeera on top of the biscuits.
  • Bake at 200C for 15 minutes till pale golden.
  • Cool and store in airtight tin.
