Ingredients:
Bottle gourd (Doodhi) - 1 cup (grated)
Besan - 1/2 cup
Rice flour - 3/4 cup
Green chillies - 2 (chopped)
Ginger - 1" piece (grated)
Coriander - cumin powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
sugar - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
For Garnishing:
Grated coconut
Coriander leaves
Method:
Bottle gourd (Doodhi) - 1 cup (grated)

Method:
- Mix besan, rice flour, salt, chilli powder, turmeric, cumin and coriander powder and sugar in a bowl.
- Add grated gourd, coconut, green chillies and ginger. Bind the dough with the help of some water.
- Roll it into long thin rolls or spread in greased thali and steam cook. When cooked, remove and cut into pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, asafoetida and temper the muthias.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
