PRAWNS WITH OKRA FRY

Ingredients:
Prawns - 500 gms
Okra - 1 kg
Onions - 2
Green chillies - 5-6
Chili powder - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves -  few
Oil - 100 gms
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)

Method:

  • Clean the prawns and keep aside.
  • Finely chop okra, green chillies and onions.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add cumin and curry leaves. Fry them.
  • Add chopped onion, green chillies and prawn. Fry them till prawns are almost done.
  • Add okra and salt. Fry them until okra is tender and crispy then add chilli powder.
  • Mix well and cook in low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Lastly garnish with coriander leaves.
