WINE PASTE

Ingredients:
Tofu -25 gms
Onion -1 (medium, chopped)
Garlic cloves- 2 (crushed)
Ginger - 1 tsp (grated)
Orange peel - 2 tsp (finely chopped)
Brown sugar- 2 tsp
Dry sherry  -4 tbsp
Rice- 2 tsp (finely ground)
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Brandy -1 tbsp

Method:

  • Blend all the ingredients in a liquidizer.
  • Place the mixture in a saucepan over low heat and simmer gently, stirring constantly till the liquid dries up.
  • Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator.
