Ingredients:
Boiled rice-2 cups
Thuvar dal-3/4 cup
Dehusked black gram-1/4 cup
Rock salt-2 tsp
Method:
- Soak rice for 2 hours.
- Soak both dal together for 2 hours.
- Grind dal till smooth and frothy.
- Grind rice to fine rawa consistency.
- Mix both ground paste together with salt.
- Allow to ferment for 15-20 hours.
- Pour or greased idlis plates and steam.
- Serve hot with onion chutney.
