MASHED POTATOES WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE

Ingredients:
Potatoes - 1 kg (boiled)
Cheddar cheese - 120 gms (shredded)
Double cream - 120 ml
Butter - 60 gms
Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  • Peel  and mash the potatoes.
  • combine the cream and butter in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until the butter is melted and the cream is hot.
  • Stir the potatoes in the cream mixture by thirds.
  • Stir in the cheese.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
