Ingredients:
Stale white bread - 75 gms
Bucatini or other tubular pasta - 400 gms
Olive oil - 125 ml
garlic cloves - 2 (very thinly sliced)
Dried oregano - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt and pepper
Method:

Method:
- Remove the crust from the bread and break it into crumbs.
- Boil pasta in salted water until it is al dente - about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile heat 75 ml of the oil with the garlic in a large frying pan over medium heat for 30 seconds. Do not burn the garlic.
- Add the oregano, breadcrumbs, salt and a lot of pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Drain the pasta, pour in the remaining oil and toss well.
- Add the pasta to the frying pan and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring.
- Serve at once.
