Chinese egg noodles - 225 gms
Ground nut oil - 2-3 tbsp
Chicken drumsticks - 225 gms (cut into small pieces)
Pork - 225 gms (coarsely ground)
Beef - 125 gms (Minced)
White or Chinese cabbage - 225 gms
Shrimp  - 125 gms (peeled and coarsely chopped)
Light soy sauce - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Freshly ground pepper
Fried onions - 1 tbsp
Coriander or parsley - 1 tbsp
Skinned tomato - 1


  • Prepare the noodles according to the instructions on the packet. While boiling add 2 tsp of oil to the water. Rinse with enough cold water to cool the noodles completely.
  • Leave to dry, stirring from time to time. 
  • Heat the remaining oil in a wok and stir fry the chicken, pork and beeff for 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the cabbage and 2 minutes later add the shrimp, soy sauce and salt and pepper.
  • Stir well, then add the noodles a little at a time.
  • Stir continuously and transfer to a warm dish.
  • Serve garnished with fried onion, herbs and tomato segments.
