Ingredients:
Lean lamb - 500 gms
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1" piece (chopped)
Desiccated coconut - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Curry powder - 1 tbsp
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves
Method:
Lean lamb - 500 gms

Method:
- Fry the chopped onions in oil till golden brown.
- Add the curry powder and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the meat and brown lightly.
- Mix the tomato puree, chopped ginger, salt and pepper. Stir well, cover and let it simmer.
- Add enough water. Stir occasionally and cook for about an hour.
- When the meat is tender, garnish with coconut and coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice.
