ADRAKH GHOST

Ingredients:
Lean lamb - 500 gms
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1" piece (chopped)
Desiccated coconut - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Curry powder - 1 tbsp
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves

Method:

  • Fry the chopped onions in oil till golden brown.
  • Add the curry powder and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the meat and brown lightly.
  • Mix the tomato puree, chopped ginger, salt and pepper. Stir well, cover and let it simmer.
  • Add enough water. Stir occasionally and cook for about an hour.
  • When the meat is tender, garnish with coconut and coriander leaves.
  • Serve with rice.
