CAULIFLOWER CASSEROLE

Ingredients:
Cauliflower - 1 medium (separated into florets)
Butter - 2 tbsp
Flour - 2 tbsp
Milk - 1 1/2 cups
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Grated cheese - 1  1/2 cups
Bread crumbs
Butter

Method:

  • Cook cauliflower in salted water until tender but not mushy.
  • Blend butter and flour in medium saucepan.
  • Add milk, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.
  • Add cheese; mix through.
  • Drain cauliflower; place in baking dish.
  • Pour sauce over cauliflower; sprinkle bread crumbs over sauce.
  • Dot with butter.
  • Bake in 350 F until golden brown.
