Ingredients:
Large cabbage - 1
Large onion - 1
Fresh red chillies - 2-3
Large potato - 1 (diced)
Spice:
Thick coconut milk - 2 cups mixed with pinch of turmeric and 2 tbsp prawn paste
Method:
- Shred cabbage and onion into thin strands.
- In a heavy sauce pan, simmer half the coconut milk (spiced) with the onion.
- When the onion is soft, add the remaining coconut milk.
- Add the diced potato and cabbage and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
- Uncover and let bubble for a further 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Sprinkle either soy sauce or ground pepper and serve hot.
