Ajwain Methi Pooris

Flour - 2 cups
Semolina - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Ajwain seeds - 1 tsp
Dried Fenugreek leaves - 3 tsp
Oil for frying


  • Mix all the ingredients with sufficient water to make dough.
  • Cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Make balls with the dough and roll them into pooris.
  • Deep fry th poori one by one.Gently push down the puris into hot oil to make them puff.
  • Fry ill they are golden brown. Serve hot.
