Cream of Mushroom Soup

Button Mushrooms - 100 gms
Onion - 1
Potato - 1 (small)
Milk - 1 cup
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Salt and white pepper to taste


  • Peel,chop and boil onion and potato in 2 cups of water till soft.
  • Blend in a mixie and sieve.
  • Grind 1/2 of the mushroom and finely chop the remaining.
  • Heat butter, add corn flour and cook for a minute in low flame.
  • Add milk slowly and cook till thick.
  • Add onion stock, ground and chopped mushrooms and 2 cups of water.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Bring it to boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with buns.
