Ingredients:
Mutton - 500 gms
Spinach - 500 gms
Onions - 250 gms
Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Oil - 100 gms
Cardamom - 3
Cloves - 4
Cinnamon - 1" stick
Bay leaves - 2
Black Cardamom - 2
Method:
- Wash, chop and boil the spinach till tender. Cool and grind to make paste. Keep aside.
- Finely chop onions.
- Heat oil in kadai, add green and black cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamon and cloves. Fry for few seconds.
- Add chopped onions and cook till they are transparent. Add mutton, salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. coriander powder and one cup of water. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- When mutton is 3/4th done add palak and cook till mutton is tender..
- Lastly add garam masala and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve with rice or roti.
