Ingredients:
Flour - 75 gm
Baking Powder - 34 tsp
Margarine - 40 gm
Soft brown sugar - 40 gm
Granulated sugar - 40 gm
Egg - 1
Vanilla essence - few drops
Walnuts - 25 gm (chopped)
Glace Cherries - 25 gm (chopped)
Method:
Flour - 75 gm
Baking Powder - 34 tsp
Margarine - 40 gm

Glace Cherries - 25 gm (chopped)
Method:
- Sieve the flour and baking powder.
- Beat margarine and sugar together till smooth.
- Stir in egg and vanilla essence.
- Fold in the sieved flour, walnuts and cherries.
- Place teaspoonfuls of mixture on greased baking sheets.
- Bake in the center of a moderate oven 180C for 10-12 minutes, until crisp and golden brown.
- Remove and cool on a wire rack.
- Store in airtight container.
