Honey Cake

Ingredients:
Maida - 250 gm
Honey - 120 gm
Sugar powder - 90 gm
Butter - 100 gm
Eggs - 2
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Orange essence - few drops

Method:

  • Sieve maida and baking powder twice.
  • Cream butter and sugar together till soft.
  • Beat eggs well and slowly stir in butter mixture. Add slowly honey and mix well.
  • Add flour slowly to the mixture and mix till smooth.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until inserted needle comes out clean.
  • Cool on wire rack.
