Ingredients:
Mutton - 500 gms
Tomatoes - 500 gms
Onions - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green Chillies - 6
Poppy seeds - 2 tsp
Coconut - 1/2 cup (grated)
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Coriander and Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder - 3 tsp
Cloves - 5-6
Cinnamon - 2 pieces
Cardamom - 2
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Oil - 4 tbsp
Method:

Cardamom - 2
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Oil - 4 tbsp
Method:
- Finely chop onions, tomatoes and slit green chillies lengthwise.
- Grind poppy seeds and coconut to make fine paste by adding little water.
- Heat oil in kadai, add cardamom, cinnamon and cloves. Fry for few seconds.
- Add chopped onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Saute till onions are transparent.
- Add mutton pieces, salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then add coconut paste and sufficient water. Close the lid and cook till 3/4th done.Stir occasionally.
- Add finely chopped tomato pieces, coriander and cumin powde, garam masala and coriander leaves,
- Cook till mutton is well cooked and tomatoes are soft and mixed in gravy.
- Serve with rice or roti.
