Ingredients:
Jack fruit - 500 gms
Onions - 2
Tomatoes - 4
Garlic cloves -3
Ginger - small piece
Cardamoms - 4
Cloves - 3
Cinnamon - 1" stick
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Almond paste - 2 tbsp
Fresh Cream - 3 tbsp
Oil for frying
Coriander leaves
Method:
Jack fruit - 500 gms

Method:
- Cut jack fruit into small pieces. Finely chop onions and make tomatoes puree.
- Crush garlic, ginger and cardamom.
- Heat oil in kadai, deep fry jack fruit pieces until they are golden red.
- In another pan, add 2 tbsp of oil, fry onions, ginger,garlic, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon.
- Add tomato puree and cook for 2 minutes. Add spices and cook till oil floats.
- Add jack fruit pieces, almond paste and cream. Mix well. Add 1/2 cup of water and close the lid.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until done.
- Lastly add coriander leaves.
