Mirayala Podi (Pepper Powder for Rice)

Pepper corns - 1/2 cup
Red chillies - 10
Tamarind -  Lemon size
Curry leaves - 1 cup
Salt to taste


  • Dry roast pepper and chillies till aroma comes. Add curry leaves and saute for a while.
  • Switch off the flame and grind all the ingredients together to make powder.
  • This powder is spicy and strong flavour. 
  • Store in airtight container.
