STEAMED FISH IN SAUCE

Ingredients:
Fish with bones removed - 1/2 kg
Onion - 1 (ground to paste)
Salt

Sauce:
Tomato sauce - 1 cup
Green chilli paste - 2 tsp
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Ginger - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Soya sauce - 1/2 cup
Vinegar - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
MSG - 1/4 tsp

Method:

  • Rub fish with onion paste and salt and steam till tender , but does not crumble. 
  • Spread out on a shallow dish.
  • Mix together all the sauce ingredients and cook, stirring constantly, till thick and smooth.
  • Pour sauce over the fish and bake for 5 minutes before serving.
