Small Mushrooms - 15-20
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 2 (chopped)
Salt to taste
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Besan - 1 cup
Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp (chopped)
Ajwain - a pinch
Oil for frying


  • Marinate the mushrooms with salt and ginger garlic paste and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  • Make a thick batter of besan, salt, chilli powder, chillies, coriander leaves and enough water.
  • Heat oil, dip the mushrooms in batter and deep fry till golden colour.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
