Ingredients:
Fresh fish roe - 500 gms
Vinegar - 350 ml
Chilli powder - 125 gms
Turmeric powder - 2 tsp
Salt - 2 tbsp
Mustard powder - 3 1/2 tbsp
Ground nut oil - 250 gms
Method:
Fresh fish roe - 500 gms
Vinegar - 350 ml

Method:
- Clean the fish roes (baby fish) and sprinkle with one tbsp chilli powder, half a tbsp turmeric and the salt.
- Mix well and keep aside for half an hour.
- Heat Oil and fry the roes on both sides well.
- Cool and cut into one inch pieces.
- Pack in layers in a jar. Mix remaining spices with the vinegar and pour into the jar.
- Seal the jar tightly and shake the contents.
- Store for a week before it is ready for use.
